Men’s basketball sputters in final tune-up

It was the Providence College Men’s Basketball team’s last tune-up game of the pre-season before the team’s season opener against mid-major Hofstra. In a game that was more suited for a playground setting, the Friars fell 112-109 in overtime to the 320 All-Stars.

Friars split weekend with Ivy leaguers

The glass was half-full for Providence College Women’s Hockey this past weekend, as the team traded victories with its Ivy League opponents. PC coasted to a 3-1 win over Yale on Saturday, November 16, and then dropped a 4-2 decision against No. 10 Princeton the following Sunday.
